Passionate about increasing female participation in golf, Melissa aims to create a diverse community with a culture that shares its love of golf in a supportive and nurturing environment. This is through a unique pathway of golf development; the perfect place to start, whether you are new to golf (now or recently), returning to golf, have a handicap of 36 or more or have been playing a long time, but never had any form of professional tuition.
It is with other like-minded women that you will progress through 3 blocks:
1. Discover the basics of golf (get into golf)
2. Develop your technique
3. Experience the course
Along with expert coaching from Melissa and the mentorship in block 3, you will also receive:
Equipment is provided for those who need it.
There are no harsh or traditional dress regulations to follow. Neat and clean attire is encouraged. Active wear is acceptable.
The duration of each session in blocks 1 and 2 is 1* hour. The time on the course in block 3 is up to 2 hours.
Once you have completed the development program, Melissa can help you make the next step of your golf journey. Whether that's doing more lessons or clinics, playing socially or becoming a member of the Leongatha Golf Club; there are a range of different options to consider - regardless, the support you receive from Melissa and the community is everlasting.
* Disclaimer: upfront payment for each week applies - registration online.
Booking disclaimer: the development program is classified as 'classes' in the online booking system. Each week is a new class; therefore, you are required to register and pay for each. This allows for flexibility if you are unable to attend every week of the program.
Best results come from attending all classes; to ensure you don't miss out on your spot, be sure to register and pay for all the dates you are able to attend.
If you are able to make it to all classes, and would prefer to make a once-off total payment, please contact Melissa directly before booking anything and an invoice can be sent.
